What do you do when it rains on your beach vacation?

• Sleep in  

• Treasure hunt on the beach (I am of hardy Michigan stock... better rain than snow!) 

• Get out that brand new travel mat and practice yoga so I can keep up with the 50 days of yoga I challenged myself to (but only practice standing poses because that travel mat is no match for marble floors)  

• Write double the Morning Pages I usually do because I have time and a lot of new ideas flooding my consciousness  

• Swim in the rain just like I would have when I was a kid  Take a bath in that awesome jacuzzi tub

• Read and read and read (and eat some junk food)  

• Snuggle in bed with my guy and some champagne  

• Take extra time to try to tame my tropical hair, realize it isn't worth the effort, and consider getting some Monica Gellar corn rows  

• Put on a favorite dress, have a stellar dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant, and take some selfies with my guy  

• Open the slider to the balcony so I can hear the rain and snuggle back in bed with books and my guy ...
