Joe and I are on one of our biggest adventures to date.
It took a four-hour drive to Chicago/O'Hare and an overnight flight to Frankfurt, then on to Pisa. After picking up our car rental in Pisa, we made our way to Livorno, where we pulled on to a big 'ol sleeper ferry. After a deep, albeit short, sleep in a tiny cabin, we woke as we docked in Olbia, Sardinia.
We spent the day getting lost, figuring out grocery shopping and beach clubs, soaking in the pool while yacht-watching, and taking on Italian dining. Now, we are exhausted, but delighted. We took a couple of big sighs as we gazed at a nearly full moon over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Now sleep.
